How Does it Work?

How does it work?

Before diving into a deeper process, it’s important to make sure there’s a genuine sense of fit between us. That’s why we begin with a short introductory call (about 20 minutes, free of charge and with no commitment). This call gives you the chance to get to know me and how I work, and allows me to get to know you — to hear what brings you, and to see whether the connection feels right. It’s an important step to ensure the space we create together feels safe, comfortable, and aligned.

Step One – Getting to know you

The first session is dedicated to personal connection. I want to meet you beyond what you “do in life” — to understand who you are, the experiences and worlds you carry, and how you see yourself and reality. The goal is to create a broad picture that helps me truly listen to you and design a process that fits you personally.

Step Two – Defining a direction

In the second session we begin to focus on direction. Some people arrive with a clear goal, such as a career change, improving a relationship, or developing a new habit. Others simply know they want change, without knowing exactly what it is. Here we begin a process of exploration and discovery: What really matters to you? What feels missing? What will make you feel you’re moving forward?

Step Three – Mind Training in daily life

From here, the process starts to flow. Each session combines deep exploration around your goal with real-life experiences you bring in from daily life. I believe life itself is the real training ground — patterns show up when we face everyday situations, and that’s where we can recognize, understand, and change them.

In our meetings, I integrate knowledge and perspectives from psychology, biology, and personal development to broaden your view and give deeper context to what you’re experiencing. At times, you’ll also receive exercises or “mind practices” to continue at home — journaling, self-reflection questions, mindfulness, meditation — so the work doesn’t stay only in the room, but continues with you throughout daily life.

Flexibility and personal fit

There are no long contracts or upfront commitments — the training continues as long as you want it and feel it’s serving you. It’s a process that is both goal-focused and dynamic: we have a clear direction, but we also leave room for whatever arises along the way.

Life is the training ground

Ultimately, most of the real work happens in your everyday life. The sessions with me are the focused practice: a safe space where you can bring everything as it is, be fully heard and understood, and sharpen your tools and self-awareness. This space is built so that you leave feeling clearer and stronger, with practical insights to carry into your life.

But the real magic happens between sessions — when you go back to daily life and face small moments that trigger old patterns: a recurring thought, a situation in your relationship, a sense of stuckness at work, or an inner critic that shows up again. That’s where the real training takes place.

At those times, our shared work becomes your support in the field. You no longer enter situations “unarmed” against old patterns — you bring with you the questions, tools, and perspectives we’ve practiced together. At first it’s still challenging — you may feel the old pull or even slip back into habits — but simply noticing the pattern and pausing to choose is already a breakthrough.

As this repeats again and again, your mind and body learn a new pattern. What once felt heavy, frightening, or draining starts to lose its power. What felt like a struggle gradually becomes natural — like a muscle that gets stronger through training: heavy at first, then easier, and eventually simply part of who you are.

Shared responsibility

Mind Training is not psychological therapy and not consulting. It is a coaching process focused on the present and on changing patterns through exploration, practice, and action. We don’t diagnose or analyze the past — instead we work on noticing what drives you today and building new ways of thinking and acting for the future.

My part as a coach is to hold a clear framework, reflect back what arises, ask guiding questions, and bring in knowledge and practical tools from psychology, biology, and personal development. At times I may suggest hypotheses or highlight possible connections — for example, how a pattern at work may mirror something in your relationships. I don’t define or interpret you, but rather shine a light so you can examine and decide whether the connection resonates or opens new understanding.

Your part as a client is to bring openness and honesty, to be present in the process, and above all to practice what arises outside the session — in your thoughts, your relationships, and the situations that trigger familiar patterns. That’s where the real training happens.

The process is a partnership: you bring life itself, and I bring guidance, context, and clarity. Together we create a process that enables meaningful and lasting change.

If this sounds like something that can resonate with you, you’re welcome to a short, free introductory call — a chance to meet me, experience the approach, and see if it’s right for you.
